On Sunday 12th Jul 2009 Cape Town and surrounds was hit by a deluge.
Over 100mm of rain fell in 24 hours near Table Mountain and Devil's Peak.
This caused localised flooding, mudslides, and rivers to burst their banks.

By Monday the rain had stopped, but the cleanup took some time.
